So, I was sitting in my office at work thinking, "I wish I had a way to make blog entries quickly from other pages" -- online newspaper articles, other bloggers entries, cool sites, etc. -- and, as a lark, I typed in "blog this" into Google (in the vein of bookmark this and digg this, etc.). Lo and behold, the first link is to Blogger Help : What is BlogThis! ?. Problem solved. Way to go me! (With a little help from Google and Blogger, of course.) So, I just made this entry with the "BlogThis!" link. QED.

Forty signs of a good book...
Recently read Forty Signs of Rain
by Kim Stanley Robinson. This is a very good book and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in more recent sci-fi, less techie sci-fi, political fiction, or environmental fiction. Just don't pay attention to the blurb on the back. It includes this sentence:
.
Now I'm reading A Short History Of Nearly Everything
by Bill Bryson, a non-fiction title covering some of the most interesting scientific questions of all time.
As these everyday heroes fight to align the awesome forces of nature with the extraordinary march of modern science, they are unaware that fate is about to put an unusual twist on their work—one that will place them at the heart of an unavoidable storm.I was all ready for a rip-roaring, action-packed adventure story with science and intrigue. It's a very calm story. Passionate in places, but passion in regards to policital and environmental issues, life changes, parenting, and scientific progress... Don't get me wrong. Good book. Great book. I'm planning on reading the sequel: Fifty Degrees Below

Starting yet another character...
I just started Moche to play with my brother who's new to WoW. That makes about my millionth character I've created in WoW... shouldn't there be balloons falling from the ceiling and some sort of prize?
Most of my other characters have been range fighters (hunters, mages, warlocks... I have preferred to stay back and kill from afar) or sneaky assasins (rogues, lurking in the shadows) but the more I play paladins and warriors (playing the role of "tank" in groups) the more I like it. It's a completely different game being right in the middle of the action.

Cat attack...
Helped a friend move over the weekend. She and her husband have a cat. I'm slightly allergic to cats. Nuff said?
Of course, that won't stop my wife and kids from making me get a cat for them! LOL Soon probably...
