Finally...

Ok. Here's an update. It has been quite a while, hasn't it? Well, I've been busy, ok? I finished up in New Jersey/NYC with all the packing and arranging and cleaning and job and whatnot and moved up to the not-so-frozen North.

I'm living with my parents (shut up...) for the VERY short term. We've actually managed to buy a house, can you believe it? It's a small house (I'll put up pictures eventually, maybe...) but it's infinitely larger than the 0 square foot, one bedroom apartment me, my wife, and my two children were living in. We'll never do that again. Move-in date is somewhere in the beginning of October. The little woman wants to paint a little (the walls, you perverts...) so we'll do that before we move in. Boy, will the commute be better (currently driving for approximately 1.5 hours).

The job is great. I've got so much more work (and more interesting work) here as compared to my previous job (Bracken Health Sciences Library at Queen's University in Kingston, ON as compared to the Cyber Center at Queen's Public Library in NYC).

More later...

Dear Matt, Congrats! Glad you enjoy the new job. I am sure your parents enjoyed having your family around for awhile. You should enjoy the new house. Everyone will have there own space!

I checked out your library's site. I liked the emphasis on the Stat Ref books, and the evidence-based databases. I'll probably mention that to BST.

Regards,

Dan Thom
